About Me

I'm Valerie, owner and stylist of Hairspa Salon. I am proud to give great hair to my hometown of Santa Clarita.

Having raised 3 kids, I understand the need for some "me" time, so come in, relax, and enjoy coffee, tea, or a glass of wine with your service. I also get that sometimes our "me" time has to happen with our kids in tow. They can come and get their hair done as well, allowing the whole family to feel comfortable and confident.

I have been a stylist for over 20 years and my passion for my craft is endless. I opened Hairspa to give you a fully custom experience. I specialize in precision cuts and timeless color applications.

When I'm not in the salon I will be out enjoying nice weather on a paddle board, beach, or hike. If the weather is too extreme for this Socal girl, I will be found snuggling with my 2 dogs listening to non-fiction audio books or watching Netflix.

Every service you receive is performed with cruelty free products from the first drop of color to the last styling product. You can rest easy knowing your hair was done with compassion and kindness all the way through.

I have partnered with Salon Cycle to recycle as much of the salon waste as possible. They take my used foils, product bottles, color tubes, etc. and make sure they do not end up in landfills.

They also take hair clippings. Hair clipping can be used in compost to help with soil retaining moisture with its high nitrogen content. Hair clippings are also used to make mats to aid in the cleaning up of oil spills.
