I'm Valerie, owner and stylist of Hairspa Salon Inc. With over 25 years behind the chair, I've learned that true beauty starts with how you feel: seen, heard, and cared for. My approach blends comfortable expertise with mindful care so your hair not only looks amazing, but your soul feels good too.

In my peaceful studio, I offer personalized haircuts, color, and restorative treatments like keratin smoothing and scalp detox. My goal is simple, to create an atmosphere where your stress melts away and you leave feeling great, inside and out.

 When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me outside soaking up the sunshine on my paddle board, hiking a favorite trail, or enjoying a slow day at the beach. And when the SoCal weather isn’t cooperating, I’m happily tucked inside with my dog, a good book, or a yoga mat nearby.

Every product I use at Hairspa from the first drop of color to the final styling touch is cruelty-free and chosen with care. You can relax knowing your hair is being treated with kindness at every step.

I’ve partnered with Salon Cycle to recycle as much salon waste as possible including foils, color tubes, and product bottles so they stay out of landfills. Even hair clippings are given a new purpose: they can be added to compost, enriching soil with nitrogen and helping it retain moisture, or used to create mats that aid in cleaning oil spills from our oceans.
